I took a trip with my mother and sister to Morocco.  Here are a few of the highlight pictures from the trip.

The amazing Sahara desert.  We took camels out a ways into the desert.  Magnificent.

In the oudiaya in Rabat.  Cool place.

We met up with a family we met during our trip last spring.  They had a new baby that was just lovely.
It was so great to see Salah and Hadeesha and their family

We saw the olive press in Salah's village.  A really cool experience to see them using the same technology
as we saw later in the Roman ruins of Volubilis (below)

 
Had a great time in Fes.  This is one of the medersas in the medina in Fes.

Also met up with Abdellah, a friend we made in the mountain town of Azrou.  Also fed the apes in the cedar forest.

Also enjoyed thoroughly a visit to the coastal city of Essaouria.  Beautiful place.
