More Service

Hi everyone! This is my update from last week that I didn’t have the chance to post.

This week we worked in 4 different people’s gardens. I have an awful tan line where my gardening gloves end! It’s been good to get to know people in the community. All of the people we did service for were either not members of the church or just one spouse was a member.

The most exciting thing that happened this week was that Carrie, the woman we are teaching, came to church yesterday! We found a ward member that was willing to give her a ride. She said she was glad that she came and we were able to give her a tour of the chapel.

My mom told me that one of my cousins was recently re-baptized into the church. He is happy and doing really well. That is the best news I could have received. The gospel or “good news” that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that God is our loving Heavenly Father can transform us and bring us so much joy if we let it!
